Inspired by his time spent eating bento boxes from Japanese gas stations during the Covid19 Pandemic, the Japanese artist "Foodman" asked us to bring this idea to life for his album on the record label "Hyperdub". We wanted to recreate the feeling of bento box through the design of the record, that in physical form recreates the experience. Featuring various weird and wonderful squishy textures, all rendered in an airbrush style artwork.

For the release of the first single of the record, we fed over 10,000 images to an AI until it was able to create surreal yet sometimes passingly realistic sushi. Combining this with various 3d and 2d animations we created a dream-like psychedelic visual to accompany what is a bizarre and wonderful piece of music.
